PETA-Approved Vegan - The label for vegan fashion

"PETA-Approved Vegan" - For the Animals

In order to promote the awareness and spread of vegan fashion and accessories, PETA, in cooperation with companies in the fashion industry, is continuously committed to bringing animal-friendly styles and designs to the market and in the shops. To better label vegan fashion, PETA awards a free logo that allows animal-friendly companies to visually highlight their vegan fashion items and commitment to the animals.

For consumers

People's awareness of animal suffering associated with fur, leather, wool, down and silk is growing daily. The demand for clothing without animal components and animal cruelty is constantly increasing and has long since become a trend. What customers have been missing from shopping so far, however, is a clear and simple labelling of vegan fashion. With the new logo "PETA-Approved Vegan", consumers will be able to see at a glance those products for which no animal has suffered. This makes it much easier for ethically motivated people to make a purchase decision.

For the fashion industry

With the new logo "PETA-Approved Vegan", clothing companies, bags, shoes, jewellery, scarves and accessories can clearly mark as vegan. In addition, the logoare also used for marketing purposes in stores, online shops or in promotional materials and communication channels.

Fashion companies interested in the "PETA-Approved Vegan" logo first fill a Questionnaire (PDF download)and sign a Statement of Assurance - PDF download. They then enter into a licensing agreement with PETA for individual vegan items or, optionally, for the entire company.
